Greetings, Everyone. I am again with another interesting lesson which is going to be on Phrasal Verbs. I will be teaching 5 phrasal verbs in this blog. I will help you revise grammar while teaching the Phrasal Verbs. PHRASAL VERBS
Let's start with the first phrasal verb So, the first phrasal verb we have here is,
1) Wear off
When something wears off it loses its effectiveness, When the effect of something starts to end and it starts getting blurred and also fuzzy. It gets Wear off.
Example 》You and I went to a showroom to purchase scarfs and you warned me, Don't buy this scarf, its color will fade very soon. 》 Do not buy these scarfes, their color will wear off very soon. As we're talking about many scarves, I have used 'their' but the sentence is about a single scarf only Hence, 'Its' this is not an 'It is'. It's means It is Its is a possessive pronoun. Whenever you show belongingness for a non-living thing, you will use 'ITS' Its color will wear off soon.
Do not buy this scarf. Its color will wear off soon. Now try to speak out sentence.
2)Turn against
So If you turn against someone you start opposing them You start disliking them So when you start opposing someone you turn against them.

4)Wink at
So If you wink at someone's mistake you pretend not to have seen or noticed their mistakes means you are deliberately trying to ignore someone's fault. Means we are not able to see that you have made a mistake. We can't even notice it.》I can wink at your faults no longer.
5)All at once
It has two meanings. The first meaning is Sudden and the second meaning is All at the same time. Means all the things in one go. You can not do everything all at once.
